SAT score to apply Princeton, Dartmouth, and Cornell

You need SAT score 2100 to be at all competitive and 2250 for a reasonable chance to apply Princeton, Dartmouth, and Cornell. Consider taking the SAT as Ivy admission officers are more familiar with it. Try to get a test fee waiver if necessary. Speak to your high school's college guidance counselor about the waiver if you cannot pay the test fee. The general standard for a good SAT score is 600 or above in each section. Depending on your academic transcript and extracurricular activities, an 1800 or higher should gain you admittance into many highly regarded American colleges, such as New York University or the University of Michigan.
