Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT I): Reasoning test

The SAT I is a three-hour, multiple-choice test that measures the verbal and mathematical abilities of a student. The test is composed of two 30-minute verbal sections, which test your vocabulary, verbal reasoning and reading comprehension. Two 30-minute arithmetic sections which include algebra and geometry problems. One 30-minute Test of Standard Written English which measures your ability to recognize and use standard English and one 30-minute section of equating questions.

Scholastic Aptitude Test II (SAT II): Subject Test

The SAT II: Subject Test are one hour, primarily multiple-choice test in specific subjects. Subject Test measures your knowledge of particular subjects and your ability to apply that knowledge. Only UC's and some private university's require this test.
