The Scholastic Aptitude Test® (SAT) is a globally recognized college admission test that lets examinees show colleges what they know and how well they can apply that knowledge. It tests an examinee's knowledge of reading, writing and math. Most students who chose to take the SAT do so during their junior or senior year of high school, and almost all colleges and universities use the SAT to make admission decisions. General information about the SAT can be located on the CollegeBoard SAT Web site. Please Note: APSU accepts current SAT scores; however, APSU does not require the SAT for admission. Current ACT or COMPASS scores (as applicable) can also be used to meet admission requirements for assessment.
