SAT Score for Get into Alvernia University

Alvernia University automatically enrolls qualified freshmen directly into the Honors Program. Incoming freshmen who receive either the Presidential or Trustees' scholarship and have a 3.5 GPA or an 1130 SAT score will be enrolled in the Program. Students who do not meet the automatic admissions criteria, but who show academic promise may apply to the Program prior to their freshmen year. Students will be enrolled upon the discretion of the Director.

Students are able to join the program after their first semester (or upon transferring to the university) with a collegiate GPA of 3.5, the recommendation of a professor, and/or permission from the Director. Students wishing to join the program after their first semester must submit a letter of intent to the Director of the Program.
